Our goal is for every customer to be totally satisfied with their purchase. If this isn’t the case, let us know and we’ll do our best to work with you to make it right.
If you change your mind about a purchase, you can return a product within 10 days of receiving it for a full refund, assuming unchanged condition of the item. Shipping at your expense.
We are unable to accept returns on certain items. These will be carefully marked before purchase.
We will work quickly to ship your order as soon as possible. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with further information. Delivery times vary depending on your location.
Services are executed in the order in which they are received (by mail receipt). We will work as quickly as practical to work on your device, but we have a lead time of several weeks.
Once service is complete, we will invoice you for additional payment (e.g., shipping and additional parts) and will ship out your device as soon as payment was received.

It all depends on our current workload, but the majority of services are
done within 3-4 weeks. Please keep in mind if we need to order a kit or
parts for your mod that could delay the completion as we obviously have
to wait for the parts to arrive.
We offer a 60 day warranty on all mod work and the original workings of every console we sell. We are not able to offer warranties on any external mod kits or parts, that is handled in different ways by the manufacturers.
Please understand that
we share the same goal in providing you a quality repair or mod service to
enjoy and we will do everything within our ability to accomplish that
goal.
The vast majority of our products are used and repaired, refurbished, or prefessionally restored. As such, we provide no warranty on the product itself, but on the work we perform to get it ready for your to enjoy. If something doesn't meet your expectation, contact as and we will strive to make it right for you.
Shipping is calculated based on your location and the items in your order. You will always know the shipping price before you purchase.
It's very easy! You simply pruchase the service you want, and we will send you an email with the address to send your device to. If you already have parts, please be sure to include them. Else, we can procure parts for you, but turn-around times may be longer.
We STRONGLY recommend against drop shipping devices to us as we have no
idea what shape it is in. We recommend you purchase a pre-serviced device from our retail ofdferings as we have been able to quality check everything.
It all depends on the service. If you have parts, feel free to send them along. Unused parts will be returned to you. Else, we will get the parts you need, but may invoice you for them.
It all depends on the service. We have commonly failing parts in stock, but for specialty parts (e.g., Atari or Commodore graphics chips) we may need to order some and invoice you for it. If that happens, we will let you know so you can decide if you want to go through with the repair and wait or not.
It all depends on the service. Minor parts (e.g., a single ram chip or capacitor to be replaced) are included in the price, but specialty chips we may need to charge you for. If that happens, we will contact you and let you know the approximate cost and you can decide if you want us to continue repairing the device.
Not to worry! We will keep you informed about the progress of your repair. If the repair is very involved, we will let you know how much labor and parts will be and you can decide if you want to continue with the service.
If you choose not to continue, we will pack up your device and all parts you already paid for and ship it back to you. No hard feelings.
If we deem a device unrepairable, we will contact you to discuss further options. You will have the option to have it sent back at your expense or recycle it free of charge. We will refund you for work that has not been completed.
We only need the device and maybe parts you already have. No wires, controllers, or games are needed.
No worries, we got your back. Purchase a service you most likely will fit and we will assess your device. If we think its too far gone (e.g., extensive battery damage), we will ship your device back and refund you what you overpaid. This way, the only cost to you is shipping.
We also work together with a number of other expert repair services and are happy to refer you to them.
Hourly rates vary by work performed and are currently as follows:
- Flashing/programming/software installation w/o specialty equipment: $25
- Cleaning, painting, minor labor (through-hole de-/soldering): $35
- Specialty labor (SMD de-/soldering): $45
- Diagnostics: $55 and up
- Manufacturing: $75 and up
- Custom programming, software testing: $175 and up
- Auditing, consulting, safety assessment: bespoke rate.
